Clifton LeRoc - The Folk House, 40A ParkStreet - Every Monday 7pm-11pm.The classes here are run weekly by our very own John Eastman and JacquieDunn fromthe University Society. You will find a lot of familiar faces here, and a greatmixture of young and old, experienced and novice dancers.
Monthly Freestyle Dances - Usually once a month at the Folk Centre in Filton. These events are run by the folks from Clifton Leroc and are a great opportunity to practise, show off, meet new people and dance the night away. Trinity Leroc is run by the lovely Dave and Katya. They hold classes most Tuesdays at the beautifully decorated BAWA ballrooms in Filton. They also organise monthly dances at the BAWA and PBA clubs. Check their website for any upcoming dances.

Capoeira - This is one of the strangest and exciting dances you will come across, a mixture of martial arts, dance, music and culture originating from Brazil. Definately worth checking out.
DanceSoc - The Bristol Uni Dance Society teaches a variety of dances such as: ballet, contemporary, street jazz and African. They also organise the annual DanceSoc show, which members of LeRoc have been known to take part in. This is a spectacular event and well worth going along to watch.
Latin American and Ballroom Dancing - The Bristol Uni Latin American and Ballroom Dancing Society (BULABDS) is one of the largest societies at the University. They teach a wide variety of different styles. Latin-American dances such as Salsa, Mambo, Cha-Cha and Samba, and also more traditional ballroom dancing such as Foxtrot, Quickstep, Waltz and Tango.
